In Fine Style : The Art of Tudor and Stuart Fashion is on at the Queens Gallery Holyrood Palace until the 20th of July.
Comprising of portraiture, original clothing, textiles, accessories and jewellery the exhibition is accompanied by an insightful multimedia guide which talks about the fashions of the times, how the pieces were made and restored and how they influence todays fashion. Highlights include the video on how the pieces were embroidered – a painstaking task even on a small scale – and sets of highly detailed gloves.
