The 188th exhibition focuses on video installations downstairs and has painting and sculpture in the upper galleries. Beginning without the usual piper and with not a catalogue to be seen the exhibition seems a little disjointed and disorganised.

Rachel Maclean puts the Yes/No debate to the fore, continuing from her success at Traquair and the Printmakers, while established favourites like Frances Walker and Victoria Crowe continue to create beautiful work.

With luck the catalogue will be available before the end of the exhibition on the 4th of May.
