Edinburgh Castle from Argyll House
Dominating the skyline of Edinburgh, the Castle has been inhabited since the 2nd century. Built on a volcanic plug, 130 metres above sea level, with a view across the city to the Forth estuary and out to the surrounding hills. The site is now managed by Historic Scotland.
