Traquair House continues its collaboration with the Edinburgh Printmakers with the commission of The Debatable Land, a three part work by Peter Sacks, for their Beyond Borders Scotland International Festival of Literature and Thought.
“This whole project started at Traquair and Beyond Borders. I was astonished how this place drew people from way beyond Scotland to contemplate what cultures had in common, what conflicts occurred between them, and what kinds of understandings could be forged. It was in that gathering and moment that ‘The Debatable Land’ was conceived.” Peter Sacks
