Linlithgow has a long history, a royal burgh it was the birthplace of Mart Queen of Scots and still has many places to explore.

Circumnavigate the “peel” as the loch is known locally, and admire the view of the palace from the opposite bank amidst the flora and fauna.

Tried out the new W&N watercolour sticks, very intense colours that go all over your hands in warm weather, but good fun.

Venture into the Palace and admire the fountain before ranging into the upper levels to take in the views and get pleasantly lost amongst the many staircases.
