Vivian Maier was discovered posthumously in 2007 through boxes of auctioned negatives.

The UK premier of Finding Vivian Maier (IMDB) at the EIFF was introduced by it’s co-director Charlie Siskel. The film explores the journey John Maloof has taken to find out about his purchase of an anonymous box of negatives, the person who took them and how he is publicising and marketing the images.
