Poster Art in Modern China

The exhibition starts on the top floor with the earliest posters of pharmacy and tobacco adds and continues through the turbulent periods of the revolution. Mao and communist propaganda, tips for efficient farming, pest control, the space race and everything in between. The artwork is finely done and has a delightful eastern colour palette of reds, pinks, soft greens and blues; with styles varying from classical chinese to soviet deco. A unique view of chinese culture well worth seeing.

Study the past, if you would divine the future.
