Modifying the usual mix with the addition of gelatine allows it to be poured over a piece of cleaned glass.<\/p>\n<p>The example is only partially successful. Mottling has occurred, possibly because the plate was not used immediately and humidity corrupted the surface film. \u00a0However the film did survive the washing process which has to be very gentle to stop the film lifting off completely.
