Karl Graham
Hello,
We at St Margaret’s have a few exhibitions coming up that may be of interest – particularly Robyn Benson’s and Dominic McIvor’s at the end of this month.
Robyn makes conceptual sculptures that play with balance, by creating self-sufficient structures that only exist at a single point of balance. Very clean, they make for interesting photographs.
Dom works in a large scale, deconstructing traditional painting and drawing by working in linear patterns of a strict colour sequence. He repeats the 24 colours of his oil pastels then scrapes it off, revealing what is beneath. It is a painstaking process that has won him many admirers.
We would be grateful if you could post them on your blog. And, of course, we’d welcome you to come and preview the works – both artists will be in the galleries earlier than normal so may be making new works. All details for their shows are on the website, which I’ve included above.
Many thanks,
Karl

I’d be delighted to come along and have a look – dates in the diary. Thanks.
